Invitation to Bid Diesel

Potter Township, Centre County, PA is requesting Bids for their low sulfur diesel requirements through 12/31/2020. Bid will be awarded as the percentage above the ‘daily rack price’ from the refinery supplying the fuel. Vendor will supply contact information for the refinery for verification of the daily rack price. Sealed bids will be received at the Township Office, 124 Short Rd, Spring Mills, PA 16875 until 4:30 PM, Mon., Nov.4, 2019. Bids will be opened at the Supervisors meeting on Nov 4, 2019, at approximately 7:15 PM at the Township Meeting Room, 124 Short Rd, Spring Mills, PA. Potter Township is a Tax Exempt political subdivision of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The diesel shall be delivered to the Township Building, 124 Short Rd., Spring Mills, to our (1)-500 gallon and (1) 1,000 gallon storage tanks within 48 hours of ordering. Estimated usage for 2020 is 10,000 gallons ±. Amount will vary depending upon requirements of the Municipality. All Bids must be on the forms provided by the Municipality. All Bids must be in a sealed envelope clearly marked “Bid for Diesel due 11/4/2019.” All Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or Bid Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total Bid, made payable to Potter Township.
