List of Acceptable Electronics for Recycling to Change in 2020
College Township – The Centre County Recycling & Refuse Authority would like to announce some changes to our Electronics Recycling Program. Below, we have published a list of acceptable electronic items for recycling. If your electronic item is not found on the list below, we cannot accept it for recycling at our facility and it can be put in your regular trash.
Our list of acceptable electronics for recycling is as follows:
Desktop, Laptop & Server Computers
Cell Phones/PDAs
TVs & Monitors (CRT/LCD/LED/Plasma/Flat Screen)
Desktop Printers
Desktop Copiers
UPS Systems/Battery Backups
Computer Peripherals (Keyboards, Mice, Speakers, etc.)
PC Peripherals & Components (External/Internal Drives/PC Cards/Hubs)
Cables/Wiring
If you have one of the items listed above to recycle, please bring it to our facility, located at 253 Transfer Road and follow signs to the Scale. Our Scale Operator will direct you to our Electronics Recycling Building where any of the items above may be dropped off for free.
